The epitome of sophistication and poise, class, and elegance, Mrs. Karen Nicole Henderson was a lady in every way. She was a timeless beauty with substantial grace, character, and dignity. Mrs. Henderson served the Upstate region of South Carolina as a minister at her church and a Breast Health advocate among black women in her community. She proudly touted her occupation as a full-time homemaker, and she had a soft spot for battered women as she was a domestic abuse survivor herself. Sadly, Mrs. Henderson took her final rest in 2008 at the young age of 44. In addition to a legacy of love and a lifetime of memories, she left behind an assortment of jewelry to her daughters and future granddaughters.
